Two dreams last night. Both having to do with finding old friends that I would love to track down again.

In my first dream Jamie and I went to see my friend Nicole, who I haven't talked to since shortly after graduation. We went to her house and were supposed to be going out, but she forgot that she had to do something and asked us to wait for twenty minutes or so. We said fine and sat down in her living room, which was out in the woods. A few minutes later she came by and said that she actually wouldn't be able to get together until later, could we wait for seven hours. LOL. No! I told her to just call us when she could get together and we left.

In my next dream I woke up today, Thursday and it was bright and sunny outside despite only being 5:30 a. m. Jamie was still sleeping and I thought he had to be up early, so I woke him up. No, he didn't have to go to work until 10, so he went back to sleep. I went downstairs to wash my face and I everytime I splashed water on my face, I couldn't actually feel it. I stood there for so long just trying to splash water on my face that the sink soon filled up and started running over onto the floor, and still I couldn't feel the water. I think I eventually gave up.

I went upstairs only to find out that apparently day light savings time had been the day before and no one had told me. It was now 7:30 and I was late to work. I woke Jamie up again and asked what happened to the time. "Daylight savings time" he said. "On a Wednesday?!" I said hysterical. "Since when is it ever done on a Wednesday?!" So I start getting ready for work, mad now that no one reminded me to change my clock ahead.

On the way to work, I pass a guy wearing an orange shirt in the street. I see him steal something, but I keep going. I go to a store where I run into my old friend, Kaci. I haven't seen her in years, but want to find her badly. So I stand around and talk to her for a little while. Then I see the guy in the orange shirt again. Apparently he works there and I tell her to keep an eye on him because I saw him steal something. Then when I'm getting ready to leave he comes up to me and says if I tell anyone, he'll hurt me. I quickly leave.

I finally get to work and the plant is closed down. I'm late of course, and I see my boss outside. Lots of people are outside. I pull up, get out of my car, and ask my boss why everyone is outside. He said they closed the company down and everyone was waiting around for the head guy to have a meeting and tell us what happened. So I sat on the hood of his car and waited with everyone else.

Then I woke up.

This was not a good night for dreams.

It started out with me and my mom being held hostage in our basement by Jamie's uncle. I tried getting away to no avail, and even tried contacting Erin to let her know we were being held hostage. Then I decided to just make a break for it. I got up and told him I had to go to the bathroom. He thought something was up, but let me go upstairs anyway, in which case I walked right out the front door. I hated leaving my mom behind, but knew that I had to get out and get help. So I ran to Jamie's mom's house and on the way I pass this group of guys walking down the street. I was very wary of them and tried to keep an eye on them as I ran. As always, I was very sluggish while running, so I knew I was in danger and wasn't going to be able to get away. I got to Jamie's mom's house just as the guys turned around and came after me. I ran into her house and tried to lock the door to find out there was only one very old lock on the door. I told her to call the police and she asked why. I said, "Just do it!" She said, "Well I'm going to have to see if I can do it through the internet. Our phone isn't working." So I pull out my cell phone just hoping I have a signal. I dial 911 as the guys are trying to break into the house. "If you live in Baltimore County press one." "If this is an emergency press 3." "To speak to a representative, press zero." Stupid! I had to listen to a whole freakin list before I got someone on the phone. Then I tried to tell them what was going on. "Send someone immediately!" "Why m'am, what's wrong?" "Just send someone! We have people breaking in, and my mom is being held hostage in our basement." "So do you want us to send someone?" "YES!!"

I end up going through an obstacle course while on the phone with them trying to run away from the guys who did finally manage to break into the house. I happened to lead then to a police station in our back yard (??) and they got arrested.

But I stay on the phone trying to get someone to come help my mom. I'm still in Jamie's mom's house, out on their back porch. I ask Jamie's mom if Jamie's uncle knew about that part of the house and she said yes, but just to duck if I see him. Well I ducked and it was too late. He had come over to the house and saw me. He was so ticked that I had run away. He said, "There you are Jennifer. You're not getting away." Suddenly the police station is no where around, and no one in Jamie's family helped (although his mom, his aunt, and his cousin were all there) and I took off running again trying to get away, feeling sluggish the whole time. And then I woke up.

I think this dream was a lot longer than the little part I remember, but from what I do remember, I was in the bathroom and Jamie kept interrupting me and I was getting mad. Finally he opened the door and left it open so I got madder and slammed the door shut and locked it. Then I heard him walk in the kitchen and I heard Grimmy come running up to the bathroom door. Assuming Jamie would probably pick on Grimmy if given the chance I was about to unlock the door to let Grimmy in when he somehow managed to squeeze himself under the door and he came in and started taking a bath.

My dream last night was very bizarre. Some lady was holding me, my friend Amy, and a bunch of other people in her basement. We weren't chained up or anything, but we were confined to her basement. She fed us through a window - handed out a bunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Everyone started eating like they were starving and I saw her smirk and start to walk away. Assuming the food was probably poisoned, I shouted that no one should eat the food. People started putting the sandwiches down and the lady came back to the window and was not happy. She started walking around the house, and I knew she was probably going to come downstairs and I would be in trouble. So I quickly talk to Amy and tell her that it's probably better if we try and make a run for it. She agrees. We walk over to the basement door which led outside and opened it. It was unlocked!! We took off running as fast as we could across this large field. I figured if we could at least get a good head jump she wouldn't be able to catch up to us, or else we could hide. Then I started thinking that she could probably come up behind us on a four wheeler or something and run us down. But we kept running anyway and I tried to put that thought out of my mind and then I woke up.

Two dreams again.

The first one Jamie and I were packing for our trip. I remember being so worried that I was going to forget something as usual. Packing was extremely rushed and I ran around trying to remember everything. We finally say goodbye to everyone and leave. We try to drive straight through to Florida and make it to Georgia where we stay for the night. We wake up the next day and get ready to continue on down to Florida when I realize that I didn't bring any capri's with me. It was very warm outside. Not warm enough for shorts, but too warm for pants, so I desperately wanted capri's. It seemed like the end of the world when I couldn't find them and I believe I sat in the room and cried.

The next dream was a little more crazy. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I know that my co worker Terry helped me walk to the top of a tall building and we were going to someone's office. Up these winding stairs with awful carpeting. We waited out in the lobby while we talked and somehow we decided that she would help me find my biological father. Nothing else happened past that. I think we may have talked for a little while and then I woke up.

This dream was about our trip. This is one of my favorite times of year - when the dreams about us going away start rolling in.

Jamie and I were getting ready to leave, but I was as usual, running around like frantic trying to get everything ready. I always manage to forget something in my dreams. I'm getting my bathing suit, the map, our book of things to see and do, Q-tips, throwing everything in a bag because we are already leaving later than we wanted to.

Then we're ready to go when I realize that I should probably say goodbye to the girls on the board, so I'm suddenly at school and I have to wait to use someone's computer. At which time I sit down and write out a postcard saying that we're leaving. This takes a very long time for some reason. I go to address it to send it to Estelle and check to make sure I have my address book. I do! Whew! I don't worry about stamps, because we can get them on our trip. Then I realize that it's easier for me to just post this message on the board instead of sending a letter to Estelle and having her do it, so I get online to post a goodbye and this also takes a very long time for some reason. Finally we are ready to leave when I wake up.

I also don't remember this dream. I know Jamie and I were doing something - going somewhere, but I do not remember it. :(

This was a busy night for me.

My first dream was very short. I was at a hotel that I had gone to a couple of months ago for training. In the hotel I "knew" that my dad was there, or had been there, so I started walking down the halls that I knew. They were completely dark with no lights on. I was walking at first, but then felt trapped and trying to get out of the darkness faster I started running and felt like something was holding me back. I couldn't move, I couldn't run. It took all my energy to get out to the lobby. I almost felt like I was suffocating from the darkness.

I woke up and went back to sleep hours later. And had another dream. I saw my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins whom I haven't talked to or seen in almost weven years. I decided to spend some time with them and we went to the beach. They all expressed that they wanted to see me more and I felt bad for having not talked to them in so long, so I stayed with them and we were on our way somewhere else. Then my aunt and uncle found drugs in their car, which were my counsins', but they accused me. I denied that they were mine, but they were convinced. They took me into an old warehouse and were about to shoot me and I took off running. Unfortunately I went the wrong way and got stuck. They shot me in the chest by my heart. They went to leave and were going to leave me there to die and I said something to them about if they leave me there I can't help them find the money or something, so they helped me out of the warehouse and took me to the Walt Disney World hospital where they told everyone that there had been an accident and I had shot myself. I was still walking at this point even though I was bleeding tremendously. They stayed by my side to make sure I didn't tell anyone what really happened, but I managed to tell a nurse that I didn't do it to myself, that they had shot me. She called for a stretcher and tried to get me into surgery even faster. But I could feel myself fading and collapsed on the ground and died. ... Then I heard applaused and we all took a bow. Apparently I was in an Agatha Christie play. Very bizarre.

I had a dream last night that Jamie and I went to McDonald's and ordered lunch. We waited like twenty mintues and still never got our food. So when I asked about it the lady said, "We are on break and are not serving any food for another few hours. You can come back at 3:00." I got hysterical and said, "Well you didn't tell us that when we ordered the food! We're not coming back at 3, we don't even live in this area!" I demanded we get our food or our money back. She refused. So when she turned her back I opened the cash box (just a little box, not even a register) and took the money out. Well she saw me and her and her daughter spent the rest of the dream chasing me and Jamie down trying to execute us while we spent the rest of the time jumping fences trying to run away. Of course I couldn't run fast, and I even tried running backwards!

This dream was about a board get together we're trying to plan. In my dream only Tammy, Erin, and I made it to Niagara Falls. None of us brought our husbands, although my MOH was there. Tammy and Erin were all dressed up in these really nice, fancy long red gowns and I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt and felt absolutely ridiculous that I didn't realize it was a formal occassion. LOL. We had a picnic in some park and just talked and that was about it. No seeing Niagara or doing anything we had talked about. We just sat down at a picnic table and ate lunch.

I had a dream that my friend Krista and I were going to be in someone's wedding together. The bride picked out a black hooker dress as the bridesmaids gowns. I was horrified, but went to try it on. It was way too short and pretty much see through with a very low V-cut down to your belly button. While trying it on I realized that it was the same dress Krista wanted to wear to prom, so I bust out of the dressing room topless and go looking for her so excited that she finally got to wear the dress that she wanted to wear to prom. I started jumping up and down, "Look Krista! It's the dress you wanted to wear to prom!" I can't remember if she was excited or not, but we were at the mall and others thought that I should put my shirt back on. LOL.
