My Dreams
Sunday, March 3, 2013

I'm posting this a few days late, so I don't remember much about the dream.  I do remember that Dingo was in a pool and was drowning.  I needed to get to her quickly, (and was a few levels up), so I considered going down the slide, but I was afraid I would lose my glasses in the process and be very little help to her because I wouldn't be able to see.  Instead I decided to run down the stairs.  I don't remember much else after that, including whether or not I was able to save her.

To dream of a dead pet suggests that something that you had thought was left in the past is coming back to haunt you. Similarly to seeing your childhood home, a past pet serves the same function as trying to bring you back into that particular time period. A situation in your waking life may parallel a situation from your past and the dream is providing a means of resolving it.

To see someone drowning in your dream suggests that you are becoming too deeply involved in something that is beyond your control. Alternatively, it represents a sense of loss in your own identity. You are unable to differentiate who you are anymore.

To see a swimming pool in your dream symbolizes relaxation, calmness, luxury and ease. You need to take a break. Alternatively, a swimming pool suggests that you need to acknowledge and understand your feelings. It is time to dive in and deal with those emotions. You need to cleanse yourself and wash away past hurts.

There are a couple of different things that this dream seems to mean - it could simply mean that I'm still not over losing Dingo yet (which is true) and that I need to deal with it so that I can move on.  It also does seem to suggest once again that I am overwhelmed (a recurring pattern in my dreams lately) and that I need to take a break and relax.  Both of these interpretations are probably accurate.

I don't recall much about this dream, but two things stick out to me.  Leah and I were out hiking and found two turtles - the mom and a baby.  We took them home and later that day decided to release them.  While closing the car door, I dropped the baby turtle and stepped on him, breaking him in half.  I felt awful, but Leah reassured me he'd be fine and she just bent him back so that he was straight, and he came back to life.

Later I went home, where me, Jamie, my mom, and my aunt had all moved into a new house.  I remember it being very large with a huge living room and lots of bedrooms.  I was excited about having my own room again - and it was already decorated from the previous owners.  Then my mom decided we were putting down carpeting everywhere and I was so upset.  I just knew Houdini would pee everywhere and it was a bad idea.  I spent the rest of the dream trying to explain that it was our house and we weren't putting down carpeting and then mom called some carpet installers who showed up, while I'm still explaining that we are not having carpet installed.

Interpretation:

To dream that you are hiking represents progress and achievement. With perseverance and strong-will, you will make it far in life.

To see a turtle in your dream symbolizes wisdom, faithfulness, longevity, and loyalty. It also suggests that you need to take it slow in some situation or relationship in your life. With time and patience, you will make steady progress. Alternatively, a turtle indicates that you are sheltering yourself from the realities of life. You are putting forth a hard exterior and not letting others in. As a result, you are feeling withdrawn.

To see a new house in your dream indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life, you are taking on a new identity and developing new strengths. You are becoming more emotionally mature.

To see your aunt in your dream represents family connection, heritage and value. The aunt may also represent aspects of yourself that you like or dislike. She can also be seen as a substitute mother.

To see your mother in your dream represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development.

To dream that you are having a conversation with your mother denotes a matter that has preoccupied your mind and you are not sure how to deal with it in your waking life. It indicates unresolved problems that need to be worked out with your mother.

To see and talk with your dead parents in your dreams represent your fears of losing them or your way of coping with the loss. You are using your dream as a last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them.

To dream that you are installing or laying down carpet suggests that you are trying to make your life more comfortable. The dream may also be analogous to the planning of something. You are laying out some new project or endeavor.

To see the floor in your dream represents your support system and sense of security. You have a firm foundation that you can depend on. The floor in your dream may also symbolize the division between the subconscious and conscious. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on being "floored" or being completely surprised. Perhaps you have been caught off guard about something.

To notice the floorboards in your dream suggests that you are being protective of the things that are important to you. Alternatively, it indicates that you are guarded about something in your subconscious.

All in all, I can't really make sense of this dream.  The turtle and hiking seem to represent making progress, but I'm at a loss about the rest of it.  Maybe it's just about being caught off guard (floored / surprised) about losing my mom and dealing with that, and making progress along the way.

I am never going to whatever amusement park I visited last night in my dreams. The employees were rude; I got separated from my group; I had taken Shadow with me, who was petrified because of the rides and the noise; the boardwalk was falling apart, and Shadow and I kept slipping through the holes, eventually I never saw him again; I found a cat that I was going to take home with me and find a home for her, but the employees screamed at me and wouldn't let me; the bus left without me (with my husband and a fried on board, who later, would not respond to my texts); before I knew the bus left without me, I got on the wrong bus; I got stuck in a tiny space between a deck and a building, upside down, and started freaking out, but no one would help me; I was thrown a baby shower (without me being there) and had to lug around all my gifts later when I found them, shoved under a bench (no need to mention here that I have no need for a baby shower or the stupid gifts); both of my shoes were stolen - somehow while I was wearing them; I got screamed at by a client from work because somehow I had given him the wrong cell phone, but I don't even know how I got his cell phone; I also had an amusement part employees cell phone, which fell apart, and the park tried to charge me for it when I left; then all of us who missed the bus got sent home on a plane, which I almost missed; when I got on the plane, I somehow became responsible for carrying some pregnant woman, without legs, around; while I was carrying her around, everything in my purse got stolen (on the plane, in front of tons of people, but no one saw a thing); and when I found out who took it, he gave me my cell phone back, but refused to give me anything else back, and then spit in my face. The best part was going on the one and only ride I had time to take. The second best part was waking up, although I am completely exhausted.

Interpretation:

To see or be in an amusement park in your dream indicates that you need to set some time for more relaxation and enjoyment in your life. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are too easily distracted lately.

To dream of a separation suggests that you are experiencing some separation anxiety. You are afraid of feeling unneeded or abandoned.

To dream that you are on a boardwalk symbolizes your life's path. It represents your social circle and lifestyle.

To dream that you fall into a hole represents a pitfall in some waking situation. You feel you are stuck. Perhaps, you have dug yourself into a hole and cannot get out of it.

To see a cat in your dream symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. To dream that you are saving the life of a cat implies that you are reclaiming your independence and power.

To see a dog in your dream symbolizes intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. The dream suggests that your strong values and good intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and bring you success. Alternatively, to see a dog in your dream indicates a skill that you may have ignored or forgotten.

To dream that you are abandoned suggests that it is time to leave behind past feelings and characteristics that are hindering your growth. Let go of your old attitudes. A more direct and literal interpretation of this dream indicates you have a fear of being deserted, abandoned, or even betrayed. It may stem from a recent loss or a fear of losing a loved one. The fear of abandonment may manifest itself into your dream as part of the healing process and dealing with losing a loved one. It may also stem from unresolved feelings or problems from childhood. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are feeling neglected or that your feelings are being overlooked.

To dream that you are stuck represents a feeling of helplessness and not being able to escape from life's problems or stresses. You have lost confidence in yourself and in your ability to move ahead in your life. Your lack of clear goals and low self-esteem may be a common cause for such dreams.

To dream that you have claustrophobia suggests feeling of self-guilt. You fear that you will be punished for your past's actions.

To dream that you are upside down suggests that there is some situation or problem in your waking life that you need to straighten up. It may also mean that your initial assumptions were completely opposite of what you thought.

If you get on the wrong bus, then the dream indicates your fears of making the wrong choice and going on the wrong path. You are conflicted between what you want and what others want for you.

To dream of a baby shower suggests that you are welcoming a new start. You are given a chance to start over again and do things differently this time around. You have a new found faith in life itself.

If someone gives you an inappropriate gift, then it suggests that you are the subject of unwelcome attention from someone.

To see a pile of gifts symbolizes unutilized or unrecognized skills and talents.

To dream that you are not wearing any shoes indicates that you have low self-esteem and a lack of confidence in yourself. You are dealing with issues about your self-identity.

If you dream that you lose your shoes, then it suggests that you are searching for your identity and finding yourself.

To dream that you are wearing inappropriate shoes for the occasion or for the activity at hand means that your progress and path in life will be long, hard and laborious. It may also indicate that you are heading in the wrong direction. Perhaps you need to reevaluate your goals.

To see or use a cell phone in your dream indicates that you are being receptive to new information. It also represents your mobility. Alternatively, the dream signifies lack of understanding. Perhaps you are having difficulties getting through to someone.

To dream that you lost your cell phone represents a lack of communication. You have lost touch with some aspect of your feelings or your Self.

To see a client in your dream refers to your position of power. Consider the position that you are in and the significance of the services that you are providing.

To see an airplane in your dream indicates that you will overcome your obstacles and rise to a new level of prominence and status. You may experience a higher consciousness, new-found freedom and greater awareness. Perhaps you need to gain a better perspective or wider view on something.

To dream that you miss your connection flight indicates that you are feeling helpless and trapped by some situation. You feel that you are being held back, either physically or mentally. Alternatively, the dream may also suggest that you are feeling disconnected in some aspect of your life - work, relationship or home life.

To dream that someone else is pregnant indicates that you are experiencing a closer connection to this person.

To dream that someone is stealing something from you indicates that you are experiencing an identity crisis or are suffering from some sort of loss in your life.

Spitting represents anger, spite and contempt.

To dream that you are riding a roller coaster represents life's frequent ups and downs in your waking life. You are experiencing erratic behavior brought on by yourself or a situation.

This dream comes the night after I had a dream that I quit my job and started working for a vet.  And both of these dreams come after a hellish, long, overwhelming week at work. I think at the end of the day, this dream is telling me that I am feeling overwhelmed, stuck, hopeless, and helpless at work.  This is true, but I will keep trying.

I had this dream on Saturday, April 24th.  I have been really worried lately with the kids across the street and wondering what they would get into or vandalize next.  My dream portrayed my wanting them out of the neighborhood.

I was asleep and woke up in the middle of the night.  I looked out the window and realized their house was on fire.  They already knew though and were getting out of the house already.  They were all standing around on the porch screaming and yelling - no different than normal though.  The fire department showed up and decided that the fire had started when someone fell asleep watching TV with a cigarette in their hand.  They controlled the fire quickly and the house was still liveable, so everyone was back in the house within minutes.  Blech.

Interpretation:

Depending on the context of your dream, to see fire in your dream can symbolize destruction, passion, desire, illumination, transformation, enlightenment, or anger. It may suggest that something old is passing and something new is entering into your life. Your thoughts and views are changing. In particular, if the fire is under control or contained in one area, then it is a metaphor of your own internal fire and inner transformation. It also represents your drive, motivation, and creative energy.

To dream that a house is on fire, indicates that you need to undergo some transformation.

To dream that you or someone is yelling, represents repressed anger that need to be expressed.

To hear or dream that someone is screaming, indicates that some friend or family member is in need of your help.

To dream of a porch, represents your personality, your social self, your facade and how you portray yourself to others.

None of this makes a lot of sense, so I'm going to guess that the dream simply means I wish our neighbors would move away.

It seems waiting and waiting to hear back on Leslie house is starting to affect me.  My dream for the past two nights have been about the house.

This night we got the house and were walking through right before settlement.  On the first floor there was a long hallway that I don't remember being there before, so we walked down it and there were four additional bedrooms down there - almost like an addition to the house.  I told Jamie there was much more room than I remembered.  I was worried, wondering where we were going to store all our stuff, but all the extra rooms put me at ease - we had plenty of room!

We then went in the basement and again there was a long hallway I didn't remember.  We walked down that hallway and ended up in a small restaurant, which was underground.  I was immediately panic stricken, wondering if we now owned the restaurant and if we did, I did not want continue owning it, but closing it down would mean all those people who would lose their jobs.  I didn't know what to do, but I was certain I didn't want to own a restaurant, and certainly not one out of our house.  We continued walking until I realized we were in a small underground town.  There were shops, restaurants, streets, patio tables.  That's when I realized that the restaurant wasn't part of our house at all - it was part of this town, and I was so relieved.  We walked back to our house and went into the basement and then I woke up.

I went back to sleep later and dreamt that I needed to shower and went into Leslie House's bathroom and it was pink!  Lots of pink - which was strange because I didn't remember it being pink.  There was also a line for the shower and by the time it was my turn, I didn't have a towel.  I didn't know that you had to go to a goodwill type location to choose a towel before showering.  I got my towel, but woke up before I got to shower.

 Interpretation:

To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche, the basement represents the unconscious.  If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity.

To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are taking on a new identify and developing new strengths. You are trying to be more emotionally mature about things.

To see a hallway in your dream, symbolizes self exploration and the beginning of a path that you are taking in life. You are going through a transitional phase in your life and journeying into the unknown. It signals spiritual enlightenment, emotional growth physical prowess, new opportunities and mental passages in your life.

To dream that you are in the bedroom, signifies aspects of your self that you keep private.

To dream that you are in a restaurant, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions/choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.

To dream that you are walking on a sidewalk, represents your steady progress and direction in life. You may be moving on to new walks of life.

To dream that you are in downtown, represents your material concerns and possessions. It may indicate the hustle and bustle of your life.

To dream that you are in the bathroom, relates to your instinctual urges. You may be experiencing some burdens/feelings and need to "relieve yourself". Alternatively, it may symbolize purification and self-renewal. You need to cleanse yourself, both emotionally and psychologically.

Pink represents love, joy, sweetness, happiness, affection, kindness. Being in love or healing through love is also implied with this color.

To see or use a towel in your dream, suggests that you need to deal with your emotions in order to move forward in your life. You need to find some sort of a resolution. Alternatively, it represents completion, a fresh start and new transition.

I think this is pretty clearly telling me that I'm feeling overwhelmed with waiting for the house, packing, moving, selling our house, and the whole aspect is the new direction I'm taking in life.  I didn't necessarily need a dream to tell me this, but it was fun nonetheless.  At least in my dreams, I'm living in our dream house!  If only the bank would give us an answer and make it happen.

There was some big party going on inside my house so I couldn't get out the front door.  I think Hillary Clinton was there, and I think we might have been having a presidential campaign.  Since I couldn't go anywhere, I decided to let the dogs out.  After they were done peeing, I was trying to round them up along with the cats that were outside.  It was fairly dark and the dogs weren't coming.  I could see then that they were following something in the yard.  It looked like a small Shiba Inu, until it came closer and came into focus and then I saw it was a raccoon.  I tried to scare it away, but it wasn't scared of me.  In a hurry, I continued to try to get the dogs and cats inside.  I got everyone in, but Dingo wouln't come, so I went back for her.  As I was waiting for her, the raccoon kept getting closer and eventually attacked me.  He jumped at me and clamped down on my wrist, on the bottom part where it's the most sensitive.  I started screaming, but because of the party going on inside the house, no one could hear me.  I tried beating him against the railing of the deck, but he remained unphased and kept a constant grip on my wrist.  It hurt terribly and I was afraid he was doing permanent damage to my veins.  I went up to the back door hoping someone was in the kitchen and could help me.  Mom was there and I started banging on the door for her help.  She saw me and told me she'd be right back, she had to take something to someone.  I wasn't sure I could endure the pain anymore and didn't want her to leave, so I started scratching the door frantically trying to get her attention again.  She eventually turned around and saw the raccoon.  She started screaming and came outside and hit him with a bat (although I never saw the bat) until he let go, unconscious.  I rounded up Dingo and got in the house.  I was wondering if I should go to the hospital to be checked for rabies, so my mom went in the living room to ask my grandmother, who appeared to be suffering from dementia or alzheimers.  My wrist didn't feel right, and I was wondering if the circulation has been cut off for too long.  I went in the basement to do something, but don't remember what it was.

It's been awhile since I've had a dream where I had to watch my dad die again.  Last night I had to endure it twice.  It was the same dream and in the first part his heart didn't give out, but some other part did, which caused his death, but he still continued to live until his heart gave out, and then he finally died again.  The first death was devastating, of course, but the second death he sensed was coming, and was smiling when he died.  Leah was there too, and there was a feeling that the first death was her dad.

As usual, I think this is no more than just a dream of missing my father, I just wish I wasn't still experiencing his death.

Interpretation:

To see your father in your dream, symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant.

If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in you life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it.

To see your dead sibling, relative, or friend alive in your dream, indicates that you miss them and are trying to relive your old experiences you had with them. In trying to keep up with the pace of your daily waking life, you dreams may serve as your only outlet in coping and coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.

To see someone dying in your dream, signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Alternatively, you may want to repress that aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person.

This is the first time for a dream like this.  I dreamt that Jamie and I had a son that I just absolutely loved.  He was crying and instead of screaming at him, I picked him up and held him until he stopped.  He was very tired , so I made him a bed in the back of the Vibe as we were getting ready to go on a trip.  He had lots and lots of blankets, a pillow, and a stuffed toy to hold.

 Interpretation:

To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. Perhaps there is something that you need to see grow and nurtured.

To dream that you are hugging someone, symbolizes your loving and caring nature. You are holding someone or something close to your heart. Alternatively, it may indicate your need to be more affectionate.

To dream that you are covering or wrapping someone in a blanket, suggests you desire to care for that person.

In this dream, Jamie and I were driving somewhere and we had to go through a tunnel.  Traffic was so bad that we got out of the Vibe and decided to walk, but then my side of the tunnel got smaller and I no longer fit.  I ended up crawling and the space was still too small and I eventually got stuck and ended up freaking out.  Jamie had to rescue me.  We continued walking and there were spiders all over the tunnel.  This dream was much, much longer, but as I'm writing this late, I don't remember much else.

Interpretation:

To dream that you are going through a tunnel, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious. You are opening yourself to a brand new awareness. Alternatively, it indicates your limited perspective.

To dream that you are stuck, represents  helplessness and feeling of being unable to escape from life's problems/stress. You have lost confidence in yourself and in your ability to move ahead in your life. Your lack of clear goals and low self-esteem may be a common cause for such dreams.

To see a spider in your dream, indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or that you may want to keep your distance and  stay away from an alluring and tempting situation.  The spider is also symbolic of feminine power. Alternatively, a spider may refer to a powerful force protecting you against  your self-destructive behavior.

To dream that someone else is driving you, represents your dependence on the driver. You are not in control of your life and following the goals of others instead of your own.

I was out somewhere (maybe at work) when I realized that it was Christmas Eve and we would be leaving on our trip the next day.  I hadn't packed anything yet and was obviously running out of time.  I went home to start packing and when I arrived home, I realized that it was only November 20th and I still had time.

Interpretation:

To dream of Christmas, symbolizes family togetherness,  reunions, celebration, peace, goodwill, generosity, and human kindness. It is also representative of new beginnings and fresh starts. Consider also your own associations with this holiday.

To dream that you are going on a trip, suggests that you are in need of a change of scenery.  You are feeling overworked and need to take time out for yourself for some fun and relaxation.

To dream about time, indicates your fears of not being able to cope with the pressures and stresses of everyday life.

To dream that you do not have enough time, signifies stress, anxiety and fear. You may feel that time is running out in a business or personal matter.

To dream of the month of November, signifies of an indifferent success in all affairs.

I was getting ready for my high school reunion and when I looked in the mirror I saw that my entire forehead was covered in pimples right by my hair line.

 Interpretation:

To see your own reflection in the mirror, suggests that you are pondering thoughts about your inner self. The reflection in the mirror is how you perceive yourself or how you want others to see you. You may be contemplating on strengthening and changing  aspects of your character.

To see a fine and smooth forehead in your dream, signifies your good judgment and fairness. It is also indicative of your intellectual capacities.

To dream that you have pimples, relates to issues about your self-esteem and self-image. You are feeling awkward or out of place in some situation or relationship.

Mood:  blue

In my dream this morning, I had come home from work and found Hazel sick on the bed.  She was scarily thin and I wanted her to eat.  I knew she was dying and urged Jamie to help me get her to eat.  He told me to just let her go.  I went downstairs to make her dinner, but it was too late and she had already died.  :(

Interpretation:

To see a cat in your dream, signifies much misfortune, treachery, and bad luck. However, for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power.

To see your or someone else's pet in your dream, represents civilized instincts. You are keeping your temper in line. Alternatively, it indicates a need for love and acceptance. You are lacking attention from others and are feeling neglected. The pet may also be a pun for "petting" as in some sexual behavior.

I don't remember much about this dream other than I was at work and Shawn was wearing a dress.  It was blue with white flowers and a crisp twill fabric.  I thought it was odd since she never wears dresses or even dresses femininely at all.

Interpretation:

To see your coworkers in your dream, highlights aspects of your waking relationship with them, including difficulties/support. It signifies your ambition, struggles and competitive nature.

To see or wear a dress in your dream, represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity.

Blue represents truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness. The presence of this color in your dream, may symbolize your spiritual guide and your optimism of the future. You have clarity of mind.

White represents purity, perfection, peace, innocence, dignity, cleanliness, awareness, and new beginnings. You may be experiencing a reawakening or have a fresh outlook on life.

In this dream friends of ours were getting married (though I don't know who they were).  Jamie disappeared during most of the dream, but I showed up way over dressed, in the dress I wore to the gala at work.  When I arrived I realized I was overdressed and headed back to my room to change.  We lived in a hotel, which is also where the wedding was being held, but each room was like an apartment.  I got back to my closet and was rummaging through clothes.  I kept thinking I had a brown dress I could wear to a wedding, but didn't remember what it looked like or where it was.  I think I finally ended up just staying in my blue fancy dress.  I arrived back at the wedding, and saw Jamie who was wearing jeans and a T-shirt.  I sent him back to the room to change into something more appropriate and never saw him again.

Interpretation:

To see a wedding in your dream, symbolizes a new beginning or transition in your current life.  Dreams involving weddings are often negative and highlight some anxiety or fear. It often refers to feelings of bitterness, sorrow, or death.  Alternatively, wedding dreams reflect your issues about commitment and independence.

To see or wear a dress in your dream, represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity.

To dream that you are having trouble getting dressed, signifies that some evil person will preoccupy your mind to the point where you are not able to enjoy your daily life and its pleasure.

To see a hotel in your dream, signifies a new state of mind or a shift in personal identity. You are undergoing some sort of transition and need to move away from your old habits and old way of thinking. Or you feel the need to temporarily escape from your daily life. Alternatively, the dream may imply a loss in your personal identity.

To dream about an apartment, symbolizes a financial or situational state.

To see a closet in your dream, symbolizes something in your life that you have kept hidden. It may also signify an unveiling of previously hidden aspects of yourself, as in "coming out of the closet".

Jamie and I were going to Martinsville for the race.  We took a plane to Danville and then went to catch a connecting flight to Martinsville; however, the connecting flight had been cancelled.  They offered us another flight the next day, but it was too late, we were stuck in Danville and missed the flight.

In the second segment of the dream I was traveling somewhere by myself and was flying.  I was scared in the first dream, apparently screaming when the plane took off, but in this dream I was super calm.  Until of course the plane started to dip and headed towards the ground shortly after takeoff.  I told myself that I was fine and that the captains would save the plane, but we just continued our nosedive until eventually we crashed into the ground.  Thankfully everyone survived since we had just taken off.

I was then stuck at the airport and ran into old classmates, including one that started a fight with me and I think threw soda all over me in which case I threw chocolate milk all over her.

Interpretation:

To see an airplane in your dream, indicates  that you will overcome your obstacles and rise above to a new level of prominence and status. You may experience a higher consciousness, new-found freedom and greater awareness.

To dream that you transfer planes, implies an important transitional phase in your life which will take you away from your intended path. Changes will occur in your life which will take you to new directions and new heights of status and recognition.

To dream that a plane crashes, suggests that you have set overly high and unrealistic goals for yourself.  Your goals may be too high and are impossible to realize. You are in danger of having it come crashing down. Alternatively, your lack of confidence, self-defeating attitude and self-doubt toward the goals you have set for yourself is represented by the crashing airplane; you do not believe in your ability to attain those goals. Loss of power and uncertainty in achieving your goals are also signified.

To see a busy airport in your dream, signifies the desire for freedom, high ideals, ambition, and hopes. It is an indication that you are approaching a new departure in your life. Some new idea is taking off or is ready to take off. You may be experiencing a new relationship, new career path or new adventure.

To see milk in your dream, symbolizes maternal instincts and motherly love. It also denotes human kindness,  wholesomeness, and compassion for new acquaintances.

To dream that you are drinking milk, signifies domestic bliss and inner nourishment. It may also imply your need to strengthen your ties and relationships with others.

To spill milk in your dream, symbolizes a loss of faith, opportunity, and trust. It may indicate that your friends will cause you much temporary disappointment and unhappiness..

In this dream Jamie and I were at a lovely restaurant and while walking back to our table, I saw a camera case on a table that looked just like our old one.  No one was at the table and I pointed it out to Jamie, telling him it looked like our old camera case.  He said it didn't and kept walking, but I couldn't get over how similar it was.  I just knew it was ours.  So I picked it up and looked inside at the camera and sure enough it was ours.  I took the camera, absolutely ecstatic that I had found the stolen camera.  As I was sitting down, the couple that presumably stole my camera came up and demanded their camera back.  I informed them that it's not their camera if they steal it from someone else.  We were making such a fuss that the manager of the restaurant came up to see if he could help us with something.  I told him that these two people had stolen my camera and I was not giving it back.  Suddenly all the pictures on the camera appeared in a photo album and I flipped through showing the waiter our 1100 photos and their 15.  It was quite obvious that the camera belonged to us (I also found it very creepy that these people had kept all of our old pictures).  He told the couple that we would keep the camera.  This did not seem to appease them though because when we left the restaurant they began following us, showing up everywhere we went, including the house of friends of ours.  We went inside to lay low for the night and the psycho's walked right in behind us, chasing me everywhere insisting they wanted the camera back.  I finally escaped them early the next morning by locking myself in the master bedroom, and by climbing out the window and onto the roof.

I could feel myself waking up and was so saddened all over again that it was only a dream and I did not really have my stolen camera back.  :(

Interpretation:

To see a camera in your dream, signifies your desires to cling on and/or live in the past. Alternatively, it may represent you need to focus on a particular situation. Perhaps you need to get a clearer picture or idea.

To dream that you are on a roof, symbolizes boundless success.

To dream that you are looking through a photo album, suggests that you are unwilling to let go of your memories and the past. You are idealizing about the past.

To dream that you are in a restaurant, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions/choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.

The first dream was that Jamie and I were going out for dinner and I had to go to the bathroom first.  I tried to go at home, but couldn't for some reason, so we arrived at the restaurant and I tried to go then, but there were other people in the restroom and I didn't feel as though I could go there.  I finally found a one person bathroom, but just sat on the toilet and nothing happened.  Of course when I woke up I really did have to go!

Next one was that I had woken up and Jamie wished me a Merry Christmas.  I told him it wasn't Christmas and he informed me that in fact, it was.  I was so sad because I had first of all not bought any gifts, but in addition, I had missed all the build up to Christmas as well as Christmas Eve - tracking Santa and listening to Christmas caroles on the radio all night.  I was so sad that Christmas had come and I had missed all the good stuff.

Next thing was that I was at work where I apparently lived with my parents.  I went out to McDonald's to get them something to eat.  I got a #4, which was two cheeseburgers value meal.  I also ordered a large and medium fry.  I went through the drive through, but had to go inside to get my stuff.  I walked out with stuffed easter bunnies and a George Strait CD that converted to a scanner.  I had a large trash bag full of stuff.

Interpretation:

To dream that you are in the bathroom, relates to your instinctual urges. You may be experiencing some burdens/feelings and need to "relieve yourself".  Alternatively, it may symbolize purification and self-renewal. You need to cleanse yourself, both emotionally and psychologically.

To see a toilet in your dream, symbolizes a release of emotions or getting rid of something in your life that is useless.

To dream of Christmas, symbolizes family togetherness,  reunions, celebration, peace, goodwill, generosity, and human kindness. It is also representative of new beginnings and fresh starts. Consider also your own associations with this holiday.

To dream that you are sad, suggests that you need to learn from your disappointments and make yourself happy. Try not to dwell on the negative.

To see food in your dream, represents physical and emotional nourishment and energies.

To see or eat French Fries in your dream, suggests that you should not overlook the frivolous and seemingly minute things in life.

To see a stuffed animal in your dream, represents an immature attitude. You may be trying to escape from your daily responsibilities and problems. Alternatively, it may indicate your need to relax and be less serious. You need to allow your mind and body to rejuvenate. A stuffed animal could also mean security, love, comfort, support and unconditional or unquestioned love.

To see a rabbit in your dream, foretells of luck, magic and of a favorable turn of events and a positive outlook in your future  endeavors. Alternatively, rabbits symbolize your sexual activity.

To see  a compact disc in your dream, represents a need for enjoyment or a distraction.  It denotes opportunities and possibilities. Consider the type of music and the title of the compact disc.

To see a bag in your dream, represents the responsibilities that you carry.

To dream of a bag full of junk, symbolizes that you are burdened with worries and problems; you have to find a way on unloading some of this load.

So last night I was going out with some friends and dropped my mom off at a nearby park that was in front of some woods.  I went off for girls night with Amy #2 and Leah and told her I'd pick her up later.  I went home that night but forgot to pick her up.  By the time I remembered, it was dark and I went back to the park but she wasn't there.  I remember being very scared, I felt terrible and didn't know where she was.  I was hoping she had walked home, but when I arrived back home she had not.  The next morning still no mom so I started calling all the presets on her phone.  The first person I got was a man who I didn't know.  He told me my mom was probably at the drug and alcoholic clinic.  He called over there and that's where she was, so I went to pick her up and she was quite surprised to see me when she came out.

Then Jamie went to work and Ralph started yelling at him about getting his priorities straight and about how he cannot take three days off of work for his MIL.  Jamie informed him that his mother, not his MIL was in the hospital and that's why he took the time off.

 Interpretation:

To dream that you are at a park, represents a temporary escape from reality. It indicates renewal, meditation, and spirituality. It is also an indication of a readjustment period after a serious personal conflict or an ending of a passionate affair.

To see your mother in your dream, represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development.

To see your friends in your dream, signifies aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to integrate these rejected part of yourself.  The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy tidings from them and the arrival of good news.

To see or hear a telephone in your dream, signifies a message from your unconscious or some sort of telepathic communication. You may be forced to confront issues which you have tried to avoid. Alternatively, the telephone represents your communication and relationship with others.

Mood:  down

Of all the scary dreams I have, the most terrifying are being chased by my crazy ex-boyfriend.  Once again, last night, he was out to hurt me.  I don't know how we ran into each other, but once we did, he wouldn't let me out of his sight.  I knew my only hope for survival was to try to trick him, so I let him think that I was interested and then ran away at my first available chance.  As usual, in my dreams, I cannot run fast enough and he always caught up to me.  This continued throughout the dream:  like him, run away, get caught, like him, run away, get caught.  I even ran into a coffee shop urging people to call 911, but no one would.  One woman took pity on me and let me get in her sports car as she attempted to speed us away from him, but he still caught us.

As usual, I woke up terrified.

Interpretation:

To dream that you are being chased, signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you do not think is conquerable. It is often a metaphor for some form of insecurity.

Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety in your walking life. The way we respond to anxiety and pressure in real life is typically manifested as a chase dream. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment. Often in these dream scenarios, you are being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. You are running away, hiding, or trying to outwit your pursuer. Chase dreams may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it. Ask yourself who is the one chasing you and you may gain some understanding and insight on the source of your fears and pressure.

The pursuer or attacker who is chasing you in your dream may also represent a part of yourself. Your own feelings of anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly love, can assume the appearance of threatening figure. You may be projecting these feelings onto the unknown chaser. Next time you have a chase dream, turn around and confront your pursuer. Ask them why they are chasing you.

To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.

To dream that you are trying to run but cannot make your feet move as fast as you want them to, signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. It may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis while in the dream state.

It seems to me that I'm either annoyed (still) about the situation with my mom, or scared immensely about what will happen with Jamie's mom.
